Joey's Homestay

I originally booked a room without windows (which I didn't know as it wasn't stated on Booking). Although when I arrived, I was asked if I wanted a room with a window instead to which I said yes (they only charged 150 Rs more for that) and it was a much better choice. The window room got a lot of natural light (which I really appreciated in December) and it felt quite spacious. The bed was really comfortable. The Wi-Fi was really good too and the property felt calm. The guys at the reception were really helpful. They accept international cards which is definitely a plus.

Good location and staff

There's a reason it's non-refundable. Very sad to say but booking ahead diminishes Joey's Hostel's and Booking.com's reputation. I will never ever ever book ahead again. The last time I stayed in this Hostel I was happy, why play this game????

It was more like a home away from home experience as the room was quite clean with a comfortable bed and natural sunlight streaming through the window making the room more cozy. The access to the kitchen area to make your own meals makes the stay more convenient. I will definitely recommend this stay, especially for solo travelers planning a long term stay .
