Ariadne's House

Beautiful newly renovated house, close to the beach and just a short walk to shops, cafés, restaurants and the port. Location was great, Sami is wonderful. Host was very welcoming and helpful & we had everything we needed, good beds, bathrooms and living area, great outside space for our child to play in & you can dine al fresco. Full air con/heating and shutter blinds which made the rooms very dark for sleeping which was great for us.

Not the easiest house for small children/babies

Very good location, close to the beach promenade, restaurants and shops. The house is new and well equipped.

Dishwasher and washing machine stop working due to a power outage when you leave the house and take the smart card with you.

One street down from restaurants and shops. Local beach walkable and 10mins drive to an amazing beach. All amenities you could need for an amazing stay. Had a five day stay and was offered cleaning and fresh towels halfway through. Host really thoughtful

Grass perhaps should have been cut

The location was excellent, situated in an amazingly quiet area. The host was friendly and responsive. The house was brand new and impeccably clean, equipped with all modern amenities for a comfortable stay, including a separate washing machine. The patio was wonderful. Everything was as shown in the photos, if not better. Conveniently close to Sami's infrastructure. The house was just 30 meters from a beautiful shoreline where we enjoyed delightful swims — pebbles at the entrance, sand further in. Perfectly located for exploring Kefalonia's attractions such as Antisamos, Melissani, and Drogarati. Highly recommended.

The only minor inconvenience was that the front door could slam shut, so we had to be mindful of that when everyone was outside

The space that the property offered was good as were the fact that there was a washing machine. The house was secure with modern facilities. The proximity to Sami was perfect being just one street away from the coast.

Disappointed that there was no private parking as stated. The cleanliness of parts of the property could be improved. Some of the reclining chairs in the garden need attention before they give way.

The house is brandy new and very clean. The location is super and the place is very quiet. The owner of the house is very much friendly and gives support what ever you need. Highly recommended
