Colourful Country Escape - Breakfast Included

Honestly super impressed with this property. We booked it at 11pm, arrived at 11.15pm. We were met by one of the hosts and were welcomed and given access to the property. We had planned on carrying on our journey the next morning but the place is so cozy and relaxing we decided to stay another night. We will definitely book here again in the future. Also.. The cows are extremely cute and friendly too which was awesome for our daughter.

Clean, quiet and comfortable.

This property was a beautiful little slice of rural New Zealand life. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful sleep in the main (Queen) bed, and in the second bedroom, our teenage daughter loved the cozy double bed with the single bunk above her. The bathroom was tidy, the water pressure from the shower was excellent, and we appreciated the heated lighting and heated towel rack. Lastly, the kitchen was spacious and clean, and it provided all the amenities and appliances we needed to feel comfortable. It was a perfect stay for our family.

Lack of communication when needed. No contact phone number or email to contact host at premises. Contacting host via booking.com bounced back. Lack of basic courtesy when unforeseen problem arose.

I appreciated that thr owner called me to see what time I'd be in so that she could ensure there was fresh milk and towels at the place.

I have three children who are quite wild at times, this place is had booked was a waay out of the city and was sitting too close to a drop almost clifflike. There was absolutely no way I felt comfortable staying with my kids knowing there were bulls in the paddock right next where this small place was located. I contacted thr owner and said I would like my money back and that I couldn't even stay there because my children are curious aged 2, 3 and 6. Basically she refused and said booking.com only pay her monthly. (Load of Kaka! I havnt heard peep from her since) I didn't step foot on this property and I had booked it for 3 nights! I would like my money back as this drop should have been advertised in the pictures displayed online! I understand that everyone needs to make a living but I believe in honesty and transparency. And this lady obviously doesn't give a hoot so long as she's got her dosh. Never again! From one very sad and disappointed customer.

Great place big area and facilities were fantastic

The location was great. It was set in a rural location but close enough to amenities and what we were travelling for. The house was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. It was secure and well lit. Very safe.
