Location, nice (mostly clean) beach, plenty of shade on the beach, breakfast

portions at the restaurant were small, but close in the village there are plenty options

Amazing stay, location, accommodation and stuff. Tasty breakfast with a nice view at the sea and amazing bean-bags at the beach to chill there at night under the trees. The beach itself is great with lots of shadow. The manager spoke English which is always nice for arranging things like trips, renting a motorbike or a boat to other islands.

Simple rooms/bungalows, ours just w a/c, bed and shower, but all se need, this place is all about the beach life, next door resorts had a drought beer Chang 👍🏼🍻, all we need, feew days in beach paradise, aprxm 1,5km is a small village w few restaurants, shops and hospital, staff very attentive, helpful, thank you guys👍

Hate to leave any bad reviews, but I like to be honest as feedback is what travellers look for. The bungalows are run down, the place is run down, the wifi is VERY slow (when it actually works), rooms have TV’s, but they don’t work, the food isn’t great and breakfast very basic…. Koh Kood is an expensive island, with expensive resorts dotted about, and this is one of the only places you won’t get ripped off. The beach is beautiful with clear beautiful water. The staff are nice, but hardly speak English. We ate at the restaurant/resort next door and also used their WiFi. I personally wouldn’t recommend Koh Kood as a whole, unless you are happy doing nothing at all, except laying about and eating. We booked 2 nights, but left after 1 night.

Only the location

The resort is old and not well maintained. The bathroom smells bad. Staff are unfriendly. The worst breakfast ever, they prepare it hours before breakfast time, it is completely cold, very, very basic and it is basically the same every day. At the same time 3 people (that work in the kitchen) sit and chat. It would be far better utilization of people to let them serve fresh baked eggs, warm bacon etc.

The resort, one of Koh Kood's oldest accommodations, has maintained its presence despite growing competition, suggesting it meets the expectations of its guests. Located directly in front of a picturesque beach, it offers good views and the convenience of kayak rentals for sea activities. The resort also hosts a bar, which is notably open until late, particularly around the New Year. Based on our experience, it provides a satisfactory stay.

Considering the price, the stay was alright. However, it would have been more convenient to have a refrigerator in the room, even though there's one available in the common area. The resort, showing its age, really needs some renovation. With a bit of updating, it could be a fantastic place. The motorcycle rental was a bit of a letdown. When we got it from the hotel, there was hardly any petrol in it. It seems different from car rentals, where you usually get a full tank. Next time, I'll make sure to ask about it. As a Thai person, I did not enjoy the food offered at the resort.
