The motel is close the glow worm caves

The noise from the highway disturbed our sleep the entire night. When the trucks drive past, the room shakes ever so slightly.

Bare bones but comfy and close to caves. Owner's cats visited us in the morning while we were packing up. That was great.

A few flies/gnats/spiders in the restroom.

"Clean and spacious accommodation in an older motel."

Very clean room with large bathroom and separate kitchen area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Excellent laundry facilities. It’s an older property and looks a bit run down, but inside is well maintained and clean. Convenient for Waitomo cave attractions provided you have a car.

Might be a bit noisy because it’s near a highway.
