Pettifer's Loft

The loft is fabulous, centrally located, spotless and contains everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The photos simply do not do it justice. Glenn is an impeccable host and he really goes over and above to ensure that your stay is wonderful. We would certainly love to stay again.

This is truly one of the most unique places I have had the pleasure of staying in. My sisters and I absolutely loved it. We found the attention to detail quite extraordinary. A few treats were left for us as well, which made us feel very welcome. The location could not have been more perfect. We would book again tomorrow if we could. And just perfect for our dogs with the park and river a minute's walk away. Superb.

Nothing really, once we got used to pulling the bedroom curtains if we didn't want people peering in at us.

The loft apartment was a complete treat from the moment we arrived. Warm, welcoming and luxurious the decor and presentation both amazed and amused us and was so beautifully curated. A fabulous well equipped kitchen with a most generous welcome pack provided by Glenn who was a brilliant host from first to last making sure that we were well cared for. Such a great place to relax with very comfortable bedrooms and everything you might need thoughtfully provided. An excellent location in a quiet area central to everything Stamford has to offer. Just perfect!

Great location, opulently decorated and furnished and a generous host. The most unique property we have stayed in. Highly recommended for a visit to Stamford. We stayed for three nights and Glenn had left the most generous welcome food and drinks package we have ever experienced.

A genuine gem of a place and the host generously provided eggs, bacon, wine and other groceries. Ideal location.

This property is superb and exceeded our expectations! Pettifer's Loft is uniquely decorated and luxurious, everything has been done to the highest quality including the kitchen which is very well equipped...thank you for the lovely treats in the fridge! Glenn is the best host and, along with his recommendations for the weekend, we had an amazing time! We would not hesitate to stay at Pettifer's Loft when we plan a weekend in Stamford again. The location was perfect, in a quiet area and, if you have any queries, Glenn responds very quickly.

Glenn went above and beyond, supplying treats and so much more. His attention to detail with the decor of the property was unbelievable, luxury at its best. Nothing was too much trouble, Glen's response to messages we sent were immediate. He exceeded all of our expectations. If you want to stay in a 5 star accommodation, I would definitely recommend anybody to stay. Thank you, Glenn.

One of the most memorable stays ever! The hosts are art professionals and it shows in the decor. A one of a kind accommodation. You almost feel as though you are on a movie set. This is clearly a passion project and their enthusiasm was evident. The hosts responded immediately to any concerns and extended the warmest of welcomes to the city. The apartment was generously equipped and outfitted, The location is unbeatable. We were only able to stay two nights but could easily imagine returning for longer. The surrounding area is exquisite. Cannot recommend highly enough.

That our stay was too short and with so much to see and do in the area, we didn't get enough time to just savor relaxing in the apartment.

Familiar already with beautiful Stamford , and staying in such an opulent, fabulous loft made the weekend perfect . On entering we had high expectations from the photos but we all said “wow “ . It even smelt wonderful! Two bedrooms equally luxurious so we all enjoyed a well thought out bathroom each and super comfy beds . Kitchen is well equipped for self catering but you are also minutes from a variety of restaurants to eat out . The lounge with quirky decor and lighting inspired us to make changes at home to welcome the colours ! Friendly engaging host , a generous welcome pack , clean impressive space . I really can’t recommend enough .

The location was excellent, beds super comfy, shower was great and kitchen/lounge area was relaxing and felt luxurious. Host was friendly, helpful and the items left in the fridge for us was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely make a return visit.

Downside was parking. Very near to carpark but you had to pay by 8am each day so not so relaxing to have to get up so early.
