Historic Modern Uptown Home ll

If you're traveling on a budget, this space is a great choice. The house is not only very spacious but clean. No smelly strange odors or tacky furniture, like most low budget places in New Orleans. And although, it's an older home, and it has some minor cosmetic issues, it's very comfortable and has a home-like atmosphere. So much better than staying in a hotel. It came fully equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. Some of the neighbors were surprisingly friendly. I was so glad we found this little gem🤩!

Some parts of the neighborhood seemed sketchy. The microwave is on top of the refrigerator, seems like an odd location, very hard to reach.

A/C worked great, close to where my family was staying, comfortable couch, comfortable bed, had all I needed

microwave was too high to reach easily, hole cut out to access pipes in bathroom was kind of unsettling,

redone very nicely

needs an extra air conditioner window unit.

roof had a hole in. leaked.

that the roof leaked onto the floor and made the location unsafe. host at best indifferent.

it’s like 15 min walk to at St Charles tramp, and 20 min from the edge of garden city.

the bed mattress sadly not suitable for 2 people, it sunk in the middle, and as a couple we’ve slept crashing to the middle

Neighborhood, size of rental, good free parking. Lots of sirens, but otherwise quiet.

Minimal dishes and silverware. Microwave too high to use. No way to make more than a single cup of coffee without bringing your own cone and large mugs to keep coffee warm. Front door doesn't really lock. No TNT.

There was no breakfast but there was a complete kitchen and dining area

Quite a bit of sirens and other street noise at night

you might have to keep your eyes open walking around the neighbourhood late at night but it was interesting and o k during the day. the owner was freindly and very helpful to deal with .
