AUThe staff despite limited command of English were always willing to please, Google Translate is a wonderful tool. The hotel was close to many restaurants & fast food choices as well as supermarkets. I experienced no incidents being a solo female traveller
The roads fill up with water after small rain showers, often I was walking in mud or on stepping stones to get across a street. The smell in nearby streets was bad. There was no breakfast menu, I had to use Google translate to order, there was never enough butter for 3 slices of toast
