Langa Langa Safari Camp - Inc 2 Kruger Safaris Daily

Super lokatie! Mooie schone tent, zeer goed van eten en drinken (ontbijt, lunch en diner incl). Safari’s geregeld vanuit de lodge, zowel Kruger als Sabie. Denken mee met minder validen, bijv door voorin bij chauffeur te zitten ipv hoge opstap achterin. Bagage werd volledig verzorgd door personeel (op het hoofd ivm zandpad). Park is mooi onderhouden door tuin personeel, paden keurig geharkt, borders mooi onkruid vrij en zwembad schoon. ‘S middags werd het bed nog extra open geklapt. Airco die goed koelt.

Het uitzicht bij tent niet spannend (dichte bebossing), maar positief hieraan ws dat je geen zicht had op andere tenten.

Die Zelte sind super schön und klimatisiert. Der Pool tut gut. Die Pirschfahrten waren super. Alle essen waren überragend (Frühstück/Mittagessen/Abendessen)

The thing that impressed me most was the staff, they were all very friendly and always very helpful. Everyone was always present and engaging with a big smile even the lady(Sorry I didnt get her name) who does the gardens, her bright smile had me smiling big too. The food was ample and absolutely delicious, thank you to the chefs (dont remember their names), they were always around during meal times, ready to answer questions about the food and happy to make some adjustments to see happy faces enjoying their food. The game drives were great, got to see many animals and learned alot about them and the rest of the bush from Ruan and our guides in Sabi too. Alot of effort is put into granting guest wishes on the drives and also to get you the best views. The new gym was also a winner, I am usually a runner while on vacation, but in the heat, the gym was an appreciated alternative. The gardens and outdoors are kept neat and tidy and are very serene. Spent alot of time relaxing around the pool where we were also served drinks. There are a few games for the guests to use too. I would like to say a very big Thank you to Tony , Blessing, Precious, Believe, Silence for keeping me hydrated and Bongi and her team for keeping the rooms clean and tidy.

I think I picked up a few kilos from all the delicious food. 🫣

Toni was absoluut 200% klant georiënteerd met een oprechte vriendelijkheid. Tenten waren super, game drives geweldig, eten heel lekker

Zelt mit Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank und eigener Dusche. Was will man mehr? Abendessen nd Frühstück war klasse

The food was delicious. The game drives were a highlight- especially that they were included. The tents are a nice experience. Ruan was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable about the bush and birds. He had some great stories too. I wish he could have been our guide every day. The Sabi Sands safari was a highlight too.

The staff were friendly but it felt like they were trying to make the hotel something it was not. The staff were extremely formal and we would have appreciated a more casual approach. When having dinner and breakfast it feels very awkward because it’s very quiet and you get assigned to a table with your tent number which makes it feel formal and inflexible. The indoor shower temperature was unstable and extremely hot and cold. We had a weird experience when we asked if we could have our desert in our room to have it on the balcony, they said that’s a “great idea” and later came to our room and said “we’re not a room service hotel but because it’s your first night, we’ll give you a pass” this was uncomfortable because we never would have done it if it wasn’t allowed. On our last morning we went on a safari and the guide was very rude. We asked her to stop at the hyena den (very close to the gate) because another guide showed us and someone else on the safari hadn’t seen a hyena and she was incredibly rude and dismissive, shaking her head and saying that we shouldn’t follow latest sighting groups (I’m not sure how she didn’t know about the den because it’s been there for over a month). We also asked her if she could lower the screen so we could see better and all she said was “no”. No explanation or anything. Every other safari we had been on, had it open. We also didn’t stop for coffee and rusks like when we went on the safaris with Ruan. This really created a bad atmosphere. Although the sighting were amazing, this is due to the brilliance of the Kruger park, with our other guides we felt connected and appreciated, like our questions or requests weren’t a chore.

Langa Langa is one of those places where if you could an 11 as a score you would do it. Literally everything is perfect at staying here. The eye for detail amazed me to the fullest. The people are so kind and the tents are super luxurious. The staff knew exactly when you were on a safari so that they would clean the tents for you and put the aircon on so that you would come back after a safari in a cool tent. The 2 swimming pools are the best to relax after a safari. The 2 drives per day that were included were the best. We loved the drives with Roan. We literally saw the big 5 several times and from very close. He was super knowledgeable and fun at the same time. Last but not least the food was of such high quality and super varied. A real compliment to the chef who made such a good variety of food. Exceeded way above expectations. If you are looking for a place to stay for safari I really recommend coming here. It will not disappoint! Thanks to all the staff for making it a perfect stay!
