We recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Beaconsview B&B in Brecon, and we can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays we’ve had anywhere in the UK. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The hosts, Jen & Howard, were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, striking the perfect balance between being helpful and giving guests their privacy. The house itself is beautifully kept—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and full of little touches that make a big difference, from comfortable bedding to thoughtful extras in the room. The views are exactly what the name promises—stunning scenes of Penyfan, Waking up to see that landscape, followed by a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast, was a highlight of each day. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice and everything was cooked perfectly using high-quality ingredients. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet still within easy reach of Brecon town and all the wonderful walks, scenery, and attractions in the Brecon Beacons. Whether you’re visiting for hiking, relaxing, or just a short getaway, this is the perfect place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Beaconsview B&B to anyone visiting the area. It’s comfortable, welcoming, and run by people who clearly care about making your stay special. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Honestly couldn’t fault it in any way. Jen was a fantastic host. The room was perfect, well equipped and spotlessly clean. So many ‘nice little touches’. Very large and comfy bed. Great shower. Breakfast was amazing, everything you could possibly want and an incredible view over the hills. Location was great. 10 minute walk into Brecon town centre, with a few pubs, restaurants, shops. 15 minute drive to Pen Y Fan. 30 minute drive to The Four Falls Trail in waterfall country.

A quiet location with stunning views The host was charming. The room was beautifully furnished with a large en suite supplying a bath and a shower. Delicious breakfast, top quality ..... would highly recommend.
