Julia's cottage

Me and my family are overall very happy with our stay at Julias Cottage. It felt clean and it absolutely matched our expectations. A big plus was the communication with Yana. For example we wanted a table-lamp for my grandmother so she could read at night. And the next morning we got a table lamp. She also helped with connecting us to a Taxi we could trust. Another plus is that there is an AC in every bedroom. Very appreciated!

Very clean, nice little house in a great location, near to beaches, tavernas and shops. Lovely shower. Two toilets. Good communication with the owner

Lack of air conditioning. The owner tried to address this but the AC portable unit ( which we had to collect and assemble ourselves) was cumbersome ineffective and not fit for purpose. Small bedroom downstairs was too small and hot to sleep in. Small room upstairs had no AC we were given a small fan on day two. This had to be balanced on a chair as there was no bedside table ( or any other furniture in the room). The owner was very quick to respond to requests she has apologized and told me that new AC units are being fitted. I hope these issues get sorted for future guests to make Julia's cottage a more comfortable place to stay.

There is no storage for your clothing no draws wardrobes dressing table (although there is room to add some) there was only one very small rail and a hanging stand .nowhere to put anything we had to keep all our clothing in our cases which was a real inconvenience a lovely looking place but not very practical also the terrace had no shade and no sun brolly so we could use it most of the time .ok for short stays but we were there for 8 days .also no hairdryer and could not find instructions for tv .

Aesthetic appeal likely enhanced the cottage's appearance, bringing out its natural beauty and giving it a warm, inviting look.

The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen area has everything you need for home cooking: plenty of utensils, cutlery, cups and glasses, good size saucepans, colander, cheese grater, etc and a separate oven, halogen 4 ring hob, toaster and microwave. The slimline dishwasher was lovely to have. The washing machine was very useful too. The outside area upstairs was great for having breakfast and hanging out washing and or wet swimming costumes after a day at the beach. The master bed was extremely comfortable with a firm mattress, so a good night's sleep was had. There were duvets and a bed covers, which was handy as the temperature dropped at night (October when we visited). The shower had great pressure so was like a power shower. There is a separate toilet upstairs, which is always handy! There were plenty of towels. The location is fabulous, a minute walk from the main road, but extremely quiet, meaning a restful night. A couple of minutes to the beach where we also parked. Again, a couple of minutes walk from supermarkets, bakers, restaurants and butchers. The host, Yana, is phenomenal. Fabulous communication, friendly and helpful. Any help we needed, Yana, was quick to respond. Made us feel home from home. Highly recommend a stay at Julia's Cottage
