The cottage is well located in a nice friendly village, absolutely spotless, comfortable and many unexpected small homely extras awaiting our arrival, even dog towels for our dog, easy access, good parking, very informative helpful owner Jayne, plenty of information left at the cottage concerning the property and local information.

"Beautiful cottage in a lovely village, very comfortable stay"

Beautiful little cottage, everything we needed. Little outside seating area. Very comfortable big bed. Lounge was really lovely

A information folder would have been useful. A few areas in need of maintenance, peeling paint in kitchen. Bathroom wall plaster cracked Shower doors broken. Not enough hot water to have a bath But none of this would put us off staying again

"Thoroughly disappointed and definitely won't be going back."

Initial observations: Nice quiet village with 2 pubs but both were closed for the first 2 days of our intended stay.

We didn't like the fact that we couldn't contact our host despite trying by email, message and phone, The only contact we had was to be handed the keys upon arrival (2 hours after we had arrived). We then found we couldn't get a snack let alone a meal in the village as both pubs close on Mondays and Tuesdays and we arrived on the on Monday. We were then met with the toilet that had not been flushed ( to be clear there was a large poo in the pan). We decided to cut our losses and leave the following day, 2 days early.

"Excellent property and host."

The information given regarding the collection of keys from booking.com was very poor however the lovely Host Jayne was superb in furbishing the details. Very stressful not knowing details that are important as a single woman arriving late at night!

I was unable to get a hot bath. / booking.coms lack of information

Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Very stylish.The owners were very generous, provided us with biscuts and bread and other treats. There was just a little damp patch in the bathroom and cracked wall in there , so I would recommend putting in an extraction fan. Other than that it was gorgeous and we would definitely go again. X
