Emely Lucky Apartment

The view will scoop your eyes out and put them in backwards, then shake your head about till they're back in place. It couldn't be better. The owner and part-man-part-fish Friday are beyond attentive and very caring. Aircon, Bed and Shower are all just fine. Roof pool is fabulous, look out for the opening bars of "I Will Survive" ;) Did I mention the view?

No complaints at all (after all this is 10/10 review) but some slight organisation of cutlery crockery and glassware would wow even more, and I also think the patrons of the block should be trusted with the gym aircon controls. It was too hot for me (a fat Englishman) to "work out" in. Oh and *I* can't iron without an ironing board :p

Very nice and new apartment. Everything what you need is there. Very friendly owners. Location in perfect place to the most beautiful places in Phu Quoc. To the beach around 5 -10 min by escalators. Breakfast by menu (around 6 Vietnamese dishes from the list).

Nothing. Hard to order a taxi or find good supermarket but owners are trying to help with it.

Emely and her brother were exceptional in making sure that we had the right room, and got the most out of our stay. The communication before our arrival was "full on" to say the least! Emely wasn't there to look after us when we arrived, but her brother did a fantastic job of trying to sort out the apartment for us (the first one they showed us didn't have a washing machine and that was a "must have". The 2 bedroomed apartment that we ended up in looked as though it had never been used. Excellent views from the balcony and a very comfortable living space. You couldn't really fault the apartment or the facilities that the Hillside Development has - excellent swimming pool, a couple of gyms - all brand spanking new. Security were very pleasant and you felt welcome. Emely and Tony also organised a moped for us (free of charge!).

1. Although the communication was exceptional a lot was lost in translation. No one's fault - I don't speak Vietnamese and they used google translate which doesn't always translate effectively, so you can end up a little confused! No fault of Emely and Tony though. 2. We couldn't pay with a credit card even though it clearly states on booking.com that they accept card payments - luckily I had some US Dollars and managed to pay with that, 3. We stayed 7 nights - far too long - as much as the apartment was excellent - there are so many better areas of Phu Quoc to stay - where it feels a little more traditional. We probably should have read up more about the area and realised that "the Mediterranean of Vietnam" was not what we were looking for. Again, no fault of Emely and Tony. 4. We struggled to find a good selection of places to eat - the night market was OK for a few nights but the food was pretty "average" at best.

The sophisticated and luxurious apartment is especially notable for the incredibly kind and charming host. The apartment is fully equipped for long-term living and is very cost-effective, featuring a refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, and kitchen, all of which are very new and luxurious. The market and supermarket are quite close, and I bought everything at a low price thanks to the guidance of the apartment owner, which is very different from what I thought about tourist locations where everthing is expensive. I initially planned to stay here for only one d ay to see the difference compared to bungalows, but with the convenience and enthusiastic guidance of Emely, I extended my stay for an additional 5 days. I will come back here next month and stay longer to explore many interesting destinations on this island.

The apartment is located on the 16th floor of a building with one of the best views over the whole Sunset Town. It is spacious, with a nice balcony to the west. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is really nice and the kitchenette with a living room just great for a relaxing evening. Emely (the owner) and Lee (the manager) took amazing care of us and their hospitality and helpfulness was beyond all our expectations. We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our December vacations. Many thanks again.

A stay at this apartment was a delight! Luxurious furnishings, spotless cleanliness, and proximity to the beach and bustling night market were exceptional. The friendly hosts went above and beyond, offering complimentary fruits and coffee, guiding us to budget-friendly shopping, and providing detailed tips for cost-effective exploration of Phu Quoc.

Everything was good, nothing to complaints about

Several things make me like this apartment, and I will come back when I have the opportunity: - The facilities in the apartment are complete and new. When I requested some additional items, the staff responded very quickly and friendly. They speak English very well. - The apartment is right by the beach, so it only takes me 5 minutes to walk to the beach. - The night market is also very close and can be reached quickly on foot. - The apartment manager suggested that I have a BBQ right at the balcony of apartment, but this trip was rushed so I haven't had the chance to experience it. Anyway, he is very enthusiastic.

Very nice place, nothing to complaints about

Luxurious apartment with full equipment, the host is very friendly and kind, providing me with many surprises in customer care. I browsed through several other apartments on the website and found that they had fairly similar designs. However, I chose Emely Lucky after reading reviews from others, and I was right - everything exceeded my expectations. There were many unexpected things when I stepped into this apartment. While watching videos on social media about this location, I only thought it had beautiful architecture, a stunning beach nearby, and was quite close. But when I arrived, everything was much more splendid than I had imagined, especially the spectacular fireworks display every evening. Emely invited me to a delicious coffee when I woke up the next morning, and I still remember its name - salt coffee. Meanwhile, Lee, the apartment manager, let me borrow a motorbike when I needed to exchange money and then return without intending to use it all day. He completely let me borrow it for free. They were so lovely that I decided to stay longer and even rented a motorbike to explore the entire island. Lee offered me a much cheaper motorbike rental than other places I had inquired about. Lee suggested helping me organize a BBQ party on the balcony and provided me with a grill. I had seen this in other reviews and wanted to experience it. To my surprise, I had a delicious BBQ on the balcony, similar to dining at a luxurious seafood restaurant, even though I had no cooking skills. Lee helped me with everything, and I just needed to go to the nearby seafood market following his instructions, so the cost was very reasonable. I can't believe I've never had such a tasty and affordable BBQ seafood experience. I have stayed in several cities in Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand, but no host has helped me as much as Lee.

Everything exceeded my expectation!

It's a brand new place with a nice kitchen, great for families. The room has a balcony with a beautiful view, and there's a helpful concierge available. Very close to the beach and convenient stores located nearby. Also worth noting that Mr Lee Tuung who was always in touch with us and went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. We would definitely book again.

Emely apartment is luxurious with all the amenities, equipped with a small bar on the balcony and a BBQ kitchen. I have never seen an apartment equipped like this before. It's very quiet here, and the air is very fresh, right next to the beach. I know that Vietnamese people are very friendly and affable, but in the places I have been, people usually only answer what I ask with a few brief directions. However, Lee, the manager of this apartment, is truly kind. He provides a lot of useful and easy-to-understand information along with a detailed map of places to eat and buy groceries at a low cost. He helped me live comfortably in Phu Quoc at a low cost. I saved more than half of the expenses compared to the initial estimate. When I bought anything here, I called and asked him; he would tell me the exact price of each type of seafood, each type of fruit, and whether it is fresh or not. Not only that, he also helped me prepare the seafood I bought, taught me how to cook Vietnamese dishes, and helped me to do BBQ on the balcony of my apartment, all without any charges. I will come back to Vietnam and Phu Quoc next year.
