Björholmen Hotell & Restaurang

This is a beautiful hotel, in a wonderful location, with great views all over and a very nice restaurant. The family room we stayed in was spacious, nicely decorated and had a big balcony.

The shower has no specific enclosure, the water just runs on the bathroom floor, and it is very slippery after it has been used (see photo attached). As a result, I slipped, fell and hurt my arm - thankfully not seriously. I complained to the receptionist who seemed to be aware that this is an issue but did not even express sympathy or offer an apology. I don’t blame her though, I was relieved I had not broken anything, but I find incomprehensible that a 4-star hotel does not make the basic investment (and safety measure) of installing a separate shower. This really ruined my positive opinion for the rest and the experience of my stay.

We have stayed here a couple of times and it's absolutely beautiful. We were travelling with a dog and they were very welcoming to him as well as us. We had a Seaview apartment and it was the absolute best as we got up early to watch the sunrise (not to be missed!)

Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar, das Zimmer sehr schön angerichtet, grosszügige Räume, modern und super-komfortabel. Das Frühstück war ein Fest, vielseitig und lecker. Das Sauna-häuschen war ein unerwartete Plus, unbedingt ein Zeitfenster reservieren und geniessen!

Im Vergleich zu der höhen Qualität des Hotels, ist der Restaurant eher beschieden, limitierte Menü-Karte, Tische und Stühle einfach eingerichtet. Das Essen war aber sehr gut, und Blick auf den kleinen Hafen sehr hübsch.
