Atax Cave House

Beautiful and comfortable house with a wonderful terrace. The owner was super friendly and very willing to help us with anything. Our stay was amazing and the included breakfast was the best I've ever had in a long time.

Ali was one of the best hosts! He was always ready to help. We complained about being hot and he provided fans right away. Sunset view from the roof was very nice and breezy. Restaurants and Shops in the surrounding area were just a couple mins walk. Would recommend if you are in the Cappadocia area.

Wonderful family run hotel; great service and very friendly. The owner is a good decent man always willing to help and give advice. The location is excellent as there are many shops and restaurants close to his hotel. Had a great time sipping coffee and talking to the locals. Balloon ride was magical, all arranged by the owner. I feel lucky to have picked this location and would highly recommend this hotel.

Ali was very accommodating of our requests, they had great laundry service, he gave excellent recommendations of places to go and see, his English was superb and the breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were incredibly well presented and comfortable. The roof top terrace was incredible, the sunrise watching the balloons was magical. Excellent value for money.

Wonderful hospitality. Located at the centre of Cappadocia. Wonderful experience. The hospitality of Mr Atak was awesome. It was a complete homely experience. Herra his pet is also a must mention. Also the activities suggested by MrAtak left no experience missing.Overall a memorable and mesmerizing experience.

The host Ali was very helpful and hospitable, he helped us with ATV, hot air balloon booking and evening takeaway. He also helped us with transport. We had a very comfortable stay. It's a family run place, the breakfast was excellent, fresh and home made . I will highly recommend 👌 They also have a cute dog.

The owner, Mr. Ali, was incredibly welcoming—he even invited us to share wine and drinks with him, making us feel like part of the family. He also responds very quickly to messages, which we appreciated. The location is perfect for exploring the area, and the overall experience felt more like staying with friends than in a typical hotel. One thing to note: the cave room stayed surprisingly cool, even in hot weather—it was around 18°C without air conditioning. Highly recommended for those seeking warmth, comfort, and genuine Turkish hospitality.

We had a lovely stay at Atax Cave House. The location is great—close to restaurants and shops, yet peaceful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, especially in the early morning when the hot air balloons fill the sky. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared each day. What truly sets this place apart is the warm hospitality—we felt so welcomed and cared for. The hosts shared wonderful stories about their family and the region, making our stay feel personal and meaningful. Bonus: there’s an adorable puppy who added even more joy to our visit! Highly recommend this charming place to anyone visiting Cappadocia.
