Uig Sands Rooms

The view was outstanding!

Stunning location with panorama of Uig Bay and an unplanned wildlife show. The room is beautifully appointed with the essentials provided for self catering. The restaurant nearby is highly recommended and worthwhile.

Great communication from Elly. Very accommodating and helpful with recommendations. She gave fab recs for swimming spots, restaurants and amenities. Elly even provided us with some ready meals as I would say there aren’t too many options for dinner closeby (the restaurant was shut on the day we stayed). Beautiful views and surroundings. Fully equipped kitchenette. Extremely comfortable bed with soft furnishings. Love the added touches of the robes, slippers and treats in the kitchen.

My only regret is not spending longer here. There were a few creepy crawlies around but I feel this cannot be helped due to the location of the cabin and the varying weathers of the island.

This property is out of this world! I would highly recommend and we loved every second here. We didn’t want to leave. It has everything you need for a luxurious time away. Uig Sands restaurant is fabulous- one of the nicest meals I’ve ever eaten.

It is very remote and there is nowhere to eat other than the Uig Sands restaurant which is only open in the evening. No breakfast or lunch options and nothing nearby. There is a shop for essentials but it has limited opening hours from 10-3. There is nowhere even to get a coffee so you need to go prepared.

All good apart from a scraggy old rug in sitting area. Everything else was so nice I couldn’t understand why this rug was there.
