Camera piccola, rumorosa e calda nonostante il ventilatore; mancano appendini; frigobar in condivisione molto piccolo.

La stanza è in una posizione ottima rispetto al centro storico della città. C'è disponibilità di parcheggio (a pagamento) a pochissima distanza, e nonostante una breve scala da salire, la struttura non è molto difficile da raggiungere.

Forse, trattandosi di una casa, avrei avuto piacere ad incontrare l'host.

Krásný, velký pokoj. Hned u hradeb, kousek od centra. K dispozici káva a voda, mapky.

Není klimatizace, jen větrák a při větraní oknem hodně komárů.

Casa Mosaico is in an out of the way location; I was only able to find it with the help of a local resident who accompanied me on the bus from Pisa. It's situated off a long flight of stairs going up from the main road to a main gate of the city that is flanked on one side by an old castle, an important historic monument that is now used as a prison. As there is no traffic, the house is tranquil, and my bedroom had a pleasant view overlooking the valley below. Each of the two rooms in my suite had its own bathroom, with a shared common room supplied with a small refrigerator and the means of making tea and coffee. My room was pleasant and spotlessly clean and was adorned on the wall over the head of the bed with glass swallows made by the owner of Casa Mosaico, an artist who works in glass. She had excellent restaurant suggestions: Osteria La Pace and Carabaccia. It should be noted that out-of-the way with respect to access has no bearing on proximity to things to see and do in Volterra, which is a small hill city; everything is close together.

Nothing could have been better. The weather seemed surprisingly cold for May, but the room was supplied with blankets in a chest. My one caution is that I would not recommend this establishment for anyone traveling with a lot of luggage.
