The Wendy House

Beautiful location. Loved the open plan living, and had really comfy beds. We loved eating at the Cow, amazing food. Great cooking facilities. Staff at Tapnell were super helpful and friendly.

The house needed a good hoover when we arrived (mostly food on floor) and some plates/bowls/cutlery dirty. Some sofas/cushions dirty.

Everything. came here on a work trip with my colleagues who mentioned they would love to return with their families. Surrounded by vast fields, the solitude was refreshing, with no other houses in sight, offering a truly secluded escape. The highlight of the space was undoubtedly the massive windows, allowing the radiant sunlight to flood every corner of the house. It created an ambiance that transported me to another world. Overall, my stay was delightful, providing the perfect balance of comfort, cleanliness, and seclusion. I would highly recommend this charming retreat to anyone seeking a serene getaway.

Loved everything

Location was amazing. Lovely views. Very Private. The layout of the house was great with having the living space upstairs and bedrooms downstairs which made you appreciate the views more. Will definitely be returning again and highly recommend this property . Very lucky to have checked in earlier with good communication with provider. We had everything we needed. Maybe for the future consider adding a jacuzzi outside to appreciate the surroundings even more . Overall beautifull barn conversion in a really good location.
