Good Bye Lenin Hostel Zakopane

A great place to base yourself in the mountains. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the service is fantastic (shout out to the Latin American girl), and the atmosphere is very backpacker-like. I'll definitely be back! P.S Cats are adorable

Full of South American and Mexican workers who are not very polite. The Uruguayan woman and the Mexican guy are particularly annoying. The Brazilian guy is not far off.They turn off what you're watching in order to play Mexican music, because apparently at breakfast the music has to be Mexican. They all speak Spanish and they act like they own the place

It's full of South American and Mexican staff who are incredibly rude, walk around like they own the place and constantly show their dissatisfaction with you, and on top of everything they constantly speak Spanish and play Spanish music. The Mexican guy and the Uruguayan woman are particularly annoying, the Mexican guy even makes up stories. The Brazilian guy is not far off, constantly expressing his rude behaviour and dissatisfaction with you

Best hostel I've stayed, lovely building, location, staff and guests

I stayed at this hostel several times before, and my previous experiences were positive, but the last stay was simply terrible. The main issue was the hostel staff. Previously, the staff also consisted of volunteers, but this time it was very poorly managed. The volunteers were throwing parties every night during all three nights, until 1:30–2:00 a.m., which made it impossible for me and my friend to sleep. When I asked them to be quieter, there was no reaction at all. They were shouting and laughing very loudly. We were sleeping in a room next to the kitchen — they were standing right by the door and making noise. When I asked them at 1:30 a.m. to at least move away from the door, there was still no response. As a result, on all three nights we couldn’t fall asleep until around 2:00 a.m. Quiet hours are a basic principle of how a hostel should operate. Byłem w tym hostelu kilka razy, wcześniej moje doświadczenia były pozytywne, ale ostatni pobyt był po prostu okropny. Głównym powodem był personel hostelu. Już wcześniej cały personel składał się z wolontariuszy, ale tym razem było to bardzo źle zorganizowane. Wolontariusze urządzali imprezy każdej nocy przez wszystkie 3 dni, aż do 1:30–2:00 w nocy, co uniemożliwiało mi i mojemu koledze sen. Kiedy prosiłem ich, żeby byli ciszej, nie było żadnej reakcji z ich strony. Krzyczeli i bardzo głośno się śmiali. Spaliśmy w pokoju obok kuchni — stali tuż przy drzwiach i hałasowali. Kiedy o 1:30 w nocy prosiłem ich chociaż o to, żeby odeszli od drzwi, również nie było żadnej reakcji. W rezultacie przez wszystkie trzy noce nie mogliśmy zasnąć przed 2:00. Cisza nocna to przecież podstawowa zasada funkcjonowania hostelu.
