GENESIS by Eden

I stay at Eden for years now, every time I am in Romania, but usualy in the winter. The rooms are good quality, beds too, staff okay, restaurant ok.

I let the reception know, I will pay using vouchers ( card) and in the past I had problems with that especially if paying aith it via a link. I was told that will be fine and links work. I had to leave early in the morning unexpectadly, so I counted on the link thingy.The link did not work, which slowly led to less and less ' courtesy' from the reception. Slowly I was even told, '' if you don't pay within 48 hours we will call the authorities on you'' - as if I was a criminal. The funny fact is, the card issuer told me the link EDEN provided is WRONG as it does not re-direct to theur website for validation or to the app. I offered to have a conference call with them AND the reception. They refused that, ( EDEN) and preferred to call themselves. Slowsly I was been 'charged' that I am trying to ''avoid'' payment. Of course not in direct words, but clearly pointing towards that, AND from a position of ''power' as in.. ''big business.. don't mess with us''. Needless to say how that felt to me. Next day, what do you know... suddenly my card DID work, once THEY initiated the right procedure!! Not happy at all with their attitude, and teh total ignorance of the fact that I was their customer for 10 years!

Good value for money and pleasant surroundings

Bright light that was shining on hotel entire night, which was a bit annoying.

Clean room and bathroom. Nice location with free parking lots.

They charged us extra 100 lei (aprox 1/3 of the initial room price) claming that we send a mail asking for just one kids bed instead of two. It was a lie, we never send that. The booking was made for two adults and two kids, plain and simple. We will not come back to the Eden resort ever.
