Heart of Oxford

The location could not have been better for exploring Oxford. The house was a 2 minute walk from the bus stop which would take you to the high street. And it was also 2 minutes to the main road where you could access many different supermarkets and other facilities. The house itself was cosy with a well stocked kitchen having a full range of appliances and utensils. Everything was clean and tidy, on arrival, and help was on hand to answer any queries during our stay with a call or a text to Carmen. The beds in the two double bedrooms were comfortable, as were the couches in the living room, which easily converted into single beds. The bathroom was downstairs and had a spacious shower. A hairdryer was also provided. We had a wonderful visit to Oxford and would highly recommend this property as a base due to its comfort, location and welcome shown to us furing our stay.

There was nothing we did not like

Generally a nice house and even a little garden. The area around is ok and in walking distance to the city centre.

The beds were too small though for 2 persons and also not comfortable, wobbly, unstable, generally of cheap low quality. The kitchen area did not make best use of the space, bad planning: there was no real opportunity to sit together for breakfast or dinner anywhere with 4 people, unless you move around furniture. The washing machine showed already quite some mould: it seems that it is unclear to many people that you need to keep the detergent drawer open after using the machine, so that it can fully dry. Also the bathroom suffered from not enough ventilation; the ceiling window could not be opened (there are better electrical versions of these Velux-windows with remote control).

Very comfortable and fully furnished apartment with two bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a lovely backyard. The location is great, near to many shops pubs and to the city center. The is a parking slot in front of the house

There is only one bathroom although very well organized

De accommodatie is mooi, knus en schoon, met een buitenruimte om in alle rust te zitten en parkeergelegenheid op de oprit. Oxford is op loopafstand te bezoeken wat ideaal is.

Wij huurden de accommodatie voor 5 personen, waar het (ook) voor wordt aangeboden. Voor de 5e persoon was weliswaar een bedbank aanwezig, maar verder leek het huisje ingericht voor max. 4 personen afgaande op de hoeveel eetkamerstoelen (4 stuks) en het beddengoed dat geleverd werd (niet voldoende om de bedbank mee op te maken).

Beautiful accommodation just a short walk from Oxford city centre, with a spacious living room and well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs. There is also a quiet outdoor space behind the house. Perfect cleanliness, towels available and everything you need for your stay.

The only thing missing to perfection was some simple furniture for outdoor seating.

Location is good. Having a car park spot is a plus.

Visited during hot weather. No fans to assist air circulation. Central heating left on! Steep stairs without handrail can be challenging if unsure of balance.

Good location in Cowley, convenient to the city center by bus. Overall good value for money, kitchen and bathroom came equipped with everything we needed.
