The cottage is charming, location is perfect. Beautiful gardens, all kitchen facilities required. Jackie was extremely kind and welcoming. Beautiful bottles wine left in fridge wity milk & shortbread as welcome gifts. Tea, coffee & sugar in jars in kitchen, along with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. Lots of supermarket choices 5 minutes drive away or smaller local shops 10 minute walk. The cottage is a hidden oasis. We will be back!

While 99% of everything was wonderful, the only small constructive feedback would be to offer more comfortable sofas in living room, airfryer in kitchen., and one or two more hand towels / tea towels ;-)

Lovely property and very nicely decorated. Beautiful garden. Easy drive to lots of great places with the kids, visited Edinburgh Zoo, Dynamic Earth, City Centre, beaches all within 20-30mins.

"Hidden Gem!"

Host was super friendly, helpful and considerate. On hand to help me operate the dishwasher and made us feel very welcome. Felt like a home away from home!

Absolutely nothing, it really is a little hidden gem! Shhhhhh dont tell anyone else about this place.

Location was ideal for visiting the city and surrounding areas of interest to us. The cottage was exactly as advertised with all necessary amenities. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The welcome gifts were much appreciated.

The sofa and beds were slightly saggy.

The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and the cottage was beautiful and we'll equipped. It was in the perfect location for travelling into Edinburgh or visiting the local town. We had the best stay at the cottage and would love to return in the future!

I loved everything about this cottage! Location was great (we did have a car but also used the bus - 10 minute walk to the stop) but still quiet and peaceful. The decor is beautiful and it had everything we needed for our 5 day stay including a washer/dryer. We were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. Jackie gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived and was easy to contact if needed. I definitely want to go back for a longer stay.

Everything was great. Nothing to dislike! Just be aware that there are stairs if there is any mobility issues but they are good as far as stairs go. Not anywhere near as steep as some other places we have stayed.
