The best 4 nights away ever - we wish we could have stayed for weeks. Marina and Hans are magnificent hosts and also such interesting and kind people - they really go out of their way to make your stay perfect and special. The cottage was flawless - spacious, spotless, thoughtfully equipped with top quality crockery, furniture and linen. The many highlights for us were the huge rain shower, the fireplace, the bath looking out over the garden and the many comfortable outside lounging options to enjoy every angle of this incredible property - quiet, tranquil, lush and just perfect. We checked out with heavy hearts on our last day, but comforted ourselves with making plans to return as soon as possible.

The cottage was gorgeous, roomy and spotlessly clean and styled lovingly and so tastefully with an authentic Karoo feeling. We felt so relaxed and spoilt with all the facilities and outdoor space available to us - the pool, hammocks under the trees, pit fire, braai, sun loungers and all surrounded by and immersed in nature - there is so much wildlife in this healthy, natural property. Marina and Hans are the most wonderful, special humans who have lovingly restored this property and land with their own two hands. They are so kind and generous and warm and we loved connecting with them. They go out of their way to treat and spoil you. We miss them and this wonderful space so much already but will be back very soon!

Hans and Marina are natural hosts who have thought carefully about every possible need of guests and have a genuine concern for their welfare. Vergeet-My-Niet is simply beautiful - wonderfully appointed, every detail finished to perfection, and deeply restorative to the soul. Heartily commended as "another level" accommodation.

We thought this place was amazing. The location was beautiful, Hans and Marina are lovely they are so welcoming and friendly. The cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The garden, fruit/olive grove and the pool were so peaceful to relax in. Easy walking distance to excellent restaurants. It was a perfect relaxing stay for us, cannot wait to return, but for longer next time!

Lovely cottage in a lovely garden. Fantastic hosts. Ideally placed for walking into Prince Albert. The cottage is very well equipped. Would definitely recommend.
