If you ever decide to run your own guest house, you should sign up for a lesson from Elio, the owner Casetta al mare! Elio exceeded our expectations a couple of times, very friendly and kind attitude makes you feel like you’re at home. The room we stayed at was facing the sea, so we could hear and see the waves. It was furnished with a lot of local art and a very high attention to details. The owner was very diligent while cleaning, so no complaints there either. Breakfasts were absolutely amazing with a lot of local specialities. Elio was very helpful whenever we asked for an advice, he gave us some great recommendations and helped us with translation when needed. As a matter of fact, our stay was so great that we spontaneously decided to extend it by two extra days!

The only minor inconvenience is that our room was facing the street, so occasionally there was a loud car or a small truck passing through in the morning. To be fair, it isn’t a busy street and we knew about it before making our reservation, so it wasn’t a big deal. Besides, the sound of the waves compensated everything! 😊
