Caroline, the host was very hospitable and helpful. The setting is beautiful and tranquil.

I absolutely love this beautiful serene and peaceful village. I’ve stopped in the Duck Hut before next door but this time I fancied a couple of days away on my own in the Garden Room. If you’re happy to eat out, it’s a great place to relax and sleep.

My only request would be to include a small fridge for drinks, but it’s not a criticism. For the money it’s excellent value and the continental breakfast was wonderful to receive each morning.

I had a lovely, warm welcome. The room is beautiful and so clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept really well (not usual for me especially before a speaking engagement( The location was great and directions good.

Felt like it could have done with a small fridge in the room although the host did bring me fresh milk sachets each morning.

The location is great, really peaceful and quiet, the Garden is beautiful well kept, it was a great joy to enjoy a lovely breakfast in the Garden with the sounds of nature all around me. The bed was very comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The hostess was amazing, very friendly and very professional. It was probably my favourite stay I have had in Somerset. Everything felt modern, yet simple as well. It was a lovely stay and well worth the money. Many thanks again 👍

Good information from the friendly host. The property is easy to find and the on-lane parking is manageable (there is a turning area just a little further on). The room is well laid out and is nicely furnished, carpeted and decorated. Easily controlled and reactive heating. Bed was comfortable. Lovely to sit on the terrace (just warm enough!) for the very good continental breakfast. No disturbance from traffic noise - in fact, it was a wonderfully quiet stay.

Difficult to get the shower temperature right.

The room was warm and cozy...the garden and views were lovely as was the host.

Breakfast was continental which wasn't specified...it was nice but would have liked to have been informed. It was served in the room but there was no table or chairs to eat at. However you could eat in the garden when it was warm enough there were chairs and tables outside.

Caroline was super helpful and even gave us breakfast early as we had an early start. Thank you.
