I would have been extremely happy if they served meals. Especially breakfast with such a magnificent view.

"Quiet and Peaceful"

The Water wheel is the perfect place to stay if you require peace and quiet. Vryheid is already small and quiet, but staying a little out of town (10 minutes drive) in the mountains in the fantastic scenery is an added bonus. The place is neat and tidy with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

The small stretch of tar road from Vryheid is horrific and even worse to negotiate at night. Its doubtful if it will ever be repaired, but then again if you mage it this far its a small hurdle to consider
