Casa Del Ceylon

Casa de Ceylon.It is a beautiful old house. With amazing veranda and beautiful garden. It is in a quiet area at a walking distance from the beach and all restaurant and shops. It is a great place for a long stay, the host is sharing all the facilities of the house. Kitchen, washing machine. Wifi. Rooms are spacious and had private toilets with hot watter. I highly recommend it if you want to feel like at home

The layout and furniture

It was hard to find with no signage

One of my favorite places in Sri Lanka. Very comfortable, clean and super lovely owners. The garden is beautiful and full of fireflies at night. It is very quiet, but the beach, restaurants, shopping and medical services are within walking distance.

The villa is located 3 minutes walk from the ocean, in a quiet place surrounded by palm trees. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with air conditioning or a fan The staff is very helpful and cheerful. They organized interesting excursions for us.

the lights and water go out periodically

Place good, facilities more less as expected.

Sound isolation very bad. As front door usualy is locked from inside, you have to find host somehow, espcially at night it is long and not always possible. Even in the mornig it is locked and you have to wait for half hour or more to be let in... When other guests return the also make noise and efforts to access their rooms... There are two showers, hot and cold, but not mixing.

Cozy place. We spent one night there, but I recommend staying longer. There is a kitchen and a refrigerator

Beautiful house and lovely garden. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a family room which had two rooms with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom. Every room was big with plenty of space for your things. The outdoor space is great - there is a big patio with plenty of seats and tables. There’s also a nice living room and kitchen. It’s a short 10-15 minute walk into Hikkaduwa or an even shorter tuk tuk ride where you can reach beautiful beaches as well as plenty of restaurants and beach bars. The staff were so friendly and helpful and gave us fresh coconuts from the trees. You can use the washing machine too.

I like all the facilites they supplied for me and the staff of the villa was very friendly As soon as we came they gave me a cocacola and supplied the bed tea every morning also a vey cool climate it is

Beds were very comfy they gave me more time to stay than the check out time
