Myself and my friends were the first booking.com guests to stay at High House Barn and it was absolutely lovely. The barn is brand new and has been finished to a high standard with great facilities. It was very clean and super cozy. The location is amazing overlooking the lake and is the perfect balance of nature with the town only being a short drive away. The views are absolutely stunning. There is so much to do nearby - we hiked up Skiddaw (which you can access via ullock pike right behind the house), did the infinity bridge at Honnister and paddleboarded on the lake! Kathryn and Jordan are lovely and we’re always on hand to give recommendations of things to do. This is the perfect place for families, couples or friends we would 100% recommend!
