The Barn Behind 1530

Great location. Cute comfy cottage. Excellent hosts. Provided bread, butter & milk for our arrival. Free parking.

Could use a bigger mat at entry way.

Great little place for 2 people wanting to go off walking. Full size bathroom and cosy bedroom. Lovely and quiet area and the host was so friendly and welcoming.

Very little natural light in the bedroom due to looking out onto the roofed over terrace in the restaurant garden.

Location was excellent, right in the centre of Castleton. Liked the modern style of the property. It was well furnished and provided with good facilities.

Better lighting in the bedroom i.e. only one bedside lamp which was not bright enough to read by. Maybe some information on local walks would be useful, although we had brought our own.

When we entered the property it was lovely ,warm and clean. There was everything you needed even a few essentials like bread and milk.We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Central location right in the middle of Castleton.

The beer garden directly outside our door. Although not that noisy, it was quite off putting that we had to have door curtain and blinds drawn all the time, as the bedroom and bathroom were right next to where people who were sitting having a drink.
