The seaview from balcony of halong bay is astonishing. The hotel is new, room looks very good, clean

Almost all guests chinese of local people. They are very bad behaviored, shouting from balconies to their friends outside. They are dirty and throwing rubish on a beach and the beach is poluted by trash a lot. Hotel looks new but on the beach many amenities are broken. Breakfast more than terrible, nothing to eat, no sweets at all. and food on a floor anywhere, because chinese guests throw it an do not care to take it.

The hotel itself is amazing, modern with great views from the room and lovely outdoor pool. The staff were friendly and Tu (Stephen) at reception went out of his way to help organise a trip as there is no travel desk as stated on the website.

It is far away from anywhere, requiring transport and there is nothing going on for eating options. A coffee shop advertised was closed as was in hotel restaurant, except for breakfast. There was only one restaurant in the complex available, so they have a monopoly. Food was disappointing and overpriced.
