Private Bedroom in Detached Home in Newington

Am avut un acoperiș deasupra capului. Gazda și-a deschis casa pentru noi, spațiul a fost ok.

Din păcate, robinetele picurau, geamul avea o balama ruptă, deschizându-l, abia l-am putut închide la loc. Paturile aveau saltele cu arcurile desfundate, dulapului îi căzuse spatele. Întregul design interior ne-a creat impresia că suntem niște rude venite neinvitate în casa oamenilor. Partea dureroasă e că doamna Ali chiar a fost drăguță dimineața, la plecare. De aceea îmi vine greu să scriu o recenzie neplăcută, dar adevărul e că, plătind acest preț, mă așteptam măcar ca patul să fie confortabil... Regret, doamna dr. Ali.

Das ganze Haus stank nach Räucherstäbchen, das Bad musste mit Haudbewohnern und anderen Gästen geteilt werden. Beides hätte vorher bekannt gegeben werden sollen. Es wirkte unaufgeräumt aber sauber. Köche war erst nach Diskussion mit Hausherrin nutzbar

No hot water so couldn’t have a hot shower !!

Nothing, we didnt stay at the property. Would zero score of i could.

The property was not fit for paying guests. Room was not clean, dusty and floor and rug needing a good clean. Personel belongings in the room. Beeping smoke detector outside bedroom door, battery needing replaced, which i told the property owner about on the phone.Shared bathroom not clean. No lock on door,dirty mop in bathroom. Messaged the owner told her we were not staying, reasons as ive just listed. Message me back say i was Racist! I have evidence of this. Pictures and the txt messages. Had to book another place on your website. I will not share photos or txt on here. But i do have them if you require them.

Owner was responsive to emails regarding navigating to the property, which was difficult to find even using the included directions. She was home when we arrived and answered the door, though she had left the key out. She made tea for me upon arrival, which was very kind.

I did not realize from the information given on Booking.com that the bathroom was shared. I would not have rented it had I known this. The room was very cluttered with the owner's belongings. The beds were hard and lumpy. It did not appear very clean. The towels were draped over the radiator because there was nowhere else to put them. I honestly didn't want to get into the bed after seeing the state of the room. The information on booking said there was a kettle; there wasn't. The bathroom was also very cluttered with the owner's toiletries, personal items, and cleaning supplies. A mop was left standing in the floor. There was nowhere to hang a towel. The bathmat was filthy. I was afraid to use it. The shower was hand held but worked. I could not wait to leave the place. Fortunately, I had an extremely early flight the next morning and was there only long enough for a brief sleep.

Lovely house in a lovely area. Very safe to park on streets outside. Room had everything we needed. Shower was really refreshing and powerful. Walkable into city / bus routes.

Great location and value for money! Host was very friendly and conversational and the house itself was gorgeous

Took a bit of searching to get to the property as Google maps didn't seem to be correct in its location. Still fairly easy to find, we were just confused as we were initially directed to the property next door.
