Nice place at walking distance from the break el sunzal or la bocana, also close to the main street of el tunco. The people working at the hostel are always to close help with any questions you might have.

Lovely staff, good communal facilities - kitchen and eating area (cooker and microwave). Each room has seating space outside and it's nice to relax outside in the shade. Comfy beds! We felt at home here! It was a short walk (5-10 mins) to El Tunco centre but for us we liked to be able to get away from the touristy area. Great location for exploring other towns along the coast - we went to El Zonte and La Libertad.

The yard is quite nice, you`ll have some kitchen facilities incl. a fridge open-air. With the rooms and sound you need to be lucky with your neighbours (which I was), otherwise it could get loud. It´s in a residential area, so not much traffic noise etc. As it`s a bit outside of the actual town, the shortest way getting there is by crossing a shallow river bed, which I would not recommend by night or after some drinks but also on the regular road it takes 15mins or so only.

The staff were very smiley and friendly It was fairly quiet at night as its slightly further out the town (apart from the loud cats fighting on the roof) There's a good fridge in the kitchen and a microwave for heating up water Very good value for money and probably the best budget accommodation in the area Safe area Towels smelt nicely laundered

The bathroom is quite dirty Awful overhead lighting Basic room (but you get what you pay for!) Only one thin sheet on the bed My friends lock on the door to her room was broken. They managed to fix it in 30 mins though which is quick

Very reasonable price

SUPER basic!!!! We stayed for 5 nights and never once was there any suggestion of replacing towels, toilet paper, supplying drinkable water- let alone any cleaning of the room. Gladys had a nice smile and a pleasant demeanour, but absolutely no service at all!!!

The staff was super nice and responsive if we needed anything. I liked the kitchen and appliances and the A/C in the room was amazing.

This is a very loud area in a neighborhood with music and sounds of tools heard very loudly in the room. It is also a little outside of town and you need to cross a shallow river bed to get to town.

The room is very basic. Only one sheet was provided. The aircon worked well

Unless you have your own car you need to walk quite far to get anywhere including the beach. There was no hot water to shower. No plug in the basin. No mirror in the bathroom. The room is dark.
