The apartment was clean and well equipped. Very modern and included safe indoor parking. Fabio is very friendly, very helpful. Laura and her daughter were so nice and helpful. We experienced local sights and neighborhood as well as close to Mount Etna and Syracusa by car about an hour. Thank you very much!

Room with bad air ventilation, it's humid everywhere. Musty smell inside the room.

Our stay in the private apartment in Catania had a few positives. The location was fairly close to the city centre, providing convenient access to the main landmarks, including St. Agatha Cathedral. Additionally, the proximity to local shopping areas and restaurants added to the overall experience, allowing for enjoyable exploration and dining. Communication with the host was efficient and responsive through WhatsApp, which made it easy to address questions and concerns.

Despite the positives, there were several issues that negatively impacted our experience. Upon arrival, the first impression of the apartment was marred by an unpleasant smell of mustiness and mould. Although the bed sheets appeared to have been washed, the bed throw and blankets had clearly not been cleaned for a considerable amount of time. An unexpected and disruptive incident occurred in the late evening when the fire alarm started going off intermittently, even though none of us smokes. The alarm persisted for several seconds at a time, causing significant inconvenience. Although the issue was reported to the host, we ultimately had to resolve it ourselves, which detracted from the overall comfort of our stay. Water issues were a recurring and frustrating problem. When we arrived late in the afternoon, there was no water available in the flat. Upon reporting this, the host informed us that water would be restored the following day. This was far from ideal, as we were unable to shower after our flight. Although the water returned the next morning, the pressure was so low that showering and washing hair (particularly longer hair) became almost impossible. By the evening, the issue recurred with no water available in the sinks or showers. The host advised that there was a water emergency in the area, which we understood, but clearer communication, potential solutions, or even a partial refund would have been appreciated. Another unpleasant issue was the presence of large amounts of dead flies around the toilet area. Despite the bathroom window remaining closed at all times, flies continued to appear throughout our stay. This was highly unappealing, particularly as the number of flies increased toward the end of our visit. Overall, while the apartment's location and affordability were appealing, the lack of basic hygiene, cleanliness, and ongoing water issues significantly diminished the quality of our stay.

The apartment was in a good location, the surroundings are peaceful and quiet and it is close to the centre. The owner always responds to messages and the next day he allowed us to stay as long as we needed because he had no guests

When you enter the apartment, you feel something, I think it's from the humidity. I also think that the couch is too narrow for 2 adults (for 1 night it's OK but for longer not really) and I think it's OK for children.

The room is very exquisite, the location is also very good, and the landlord gave a lot of snacks.

The host was very communicative and helpful. Location was good and quite quiet, the bed was comfortable.
