Porto Moniz is overpriced like everything in Madeira

La terracita que tiene dónde podía sentarme a desayunar, la cama era muy cómoda, tenía un radiador para calentar si hacía frío, había café e infusiones disponibles, la cocina tenía lo necesario, la ubicación me encantó porque está en un poblado muy tranquilo, si tienes suerte y hay luna llena puedes ir a verla desde el mar y volver a casa muy rápido, hay supermercado relativamente cerca, está muy bien :)

Que la hora del check in es muy tarde y el check out muy temprano... Es lo único que mejoraría, que fuera al contrario :)

The place is interestingly built, nice view, kitchen and living space - comfy. We loved staying there and doing yoga on the roof with a view.

Kleines Zimmer. Extrem hellhörig, man hört alles aus den anderen beiden Zimmern. Im Bad kann man am Waschbecken nicht stehen, wenn man über 1,70 m groß ist auch nicht an der Toilette. 3 Zimmer mit insgesamt 6 Leute sind definitiv zu viel für dieses kleine Haus. Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer.

Absolutely the worst travel experience and horrible behavior of the owner towards customers. After arriving late at night, I discovered that one of the previous guests or probably the owner's employees had smeared everything with greasy vaseline - door handles, faucets, stove, windows, toilet seat, mirror, refrigerator, microwawe oven etc. The owner of the accommodation only offered the option of sending a cleaning worker to clean it up. I refused this, because the cleaning itself, according to my estimate, took at least an hour. As I learned from other guests who were also affected by this mess in the common areas, the cleaning worker arrived almost 3 hours after reporting the incident (around ten o'clock in the evening). The owner of the accommodation did not offer me any other alternative for quick accommodation. The last thing you really want to deal with on holiday is to be left without accommodation late at night and have to quickly find another accommodation. I will just point out that the owner owns at least dozens of different accommodation throughout Madeira, among other things, I was accommodated in three of his different accommodation during my holiday. He certainly had the opportunity to help a foreigner who found himself without accommodation late at night. On the contrary, I received a full refund from the accommodation. On the other hand, I did not hear any direct apology from the accommodation owner for the inconvenience caused during my communication with him.
