*5/5 stars* Had an amazing stay at this B&B! Friendly host and staff, especially Gugu, made me feel at home. Room was spotless, mattress was heaven, and bedding was crisp and clean. Bathroom was immaculate- even the shower head was a joy! Stately decor and beautiful garden added to the tranquil vibe. Safe neighborhood, ample covered parking for guests, and super quiet. Will definitely be back 😊

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es gab wirklich alles, was man brauchen könnte.

Wir haben hier vor unserer Fahrt zum Kruger eine Nacht verbracht und auf dem Rückweg ebenfalls noch mal. Die Unterkunft war dafür absolut perfekt. Sie liegt in einer Gated Community (man fährt durch ein Gate rein), sodass wir uns zu jeder Zeit sehr sicher gefühlt haben. Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich und verfügen über alles, was wir brauchten. Frühstück war gut, Abendessen wirklich sehr gut und zu fairen Preisen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft beim nächsten Aufenthalt in Joburg definitiv wieder wählen!

Keine Kritik, lediglich Verbesserungsvorschläge: die Schiebetüren des Badezimmers schließen nicht richtig, sodass man vom Bett aus die Toilette sehen kann. Hier wäre ein bisschen Privatsphäre toll. Ein gemütliches Licht beim Abendessen wäre großartig! Sonst alles 10000% perfekt.

Wir haben einen Tag vorher spontan gebucht. Sehr nette Eigentümerin, leckeres Frühstück, später Check in war ohne Probleme möglich, kurzfristiger Shuttleservice vom Flughafen wurde von der Eigentümerin organisiert. Wir waren rund um zufrieden.

We unfortunately only stayed at Wild Tree Lodge for one night as it was simply a positioning exercise so that we were in the direct vicinity of the airport ready to fly home. The host was really welcoming, breakfast was excellent (finally someone in this world who can make a proper scrambled egg!). The room was beautiful and really well appointed with a fantastic bathroom, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a nice comfy bed. The room was large and the area was extremely quiet. It is in a very safe area of Benoni - a 15 min drive from O.R Tambo Airport. Access to the area in which the property sits is controlled by a barrier system and the property sits behind a gated entrance. There are a whole host of little nooks in the garden around the pool where you can sit and relax. If you stay here you MUST take a walk round the bird sanctuary which is a 3 or 4 minute walk from the property. Beautiful birds with information plinths stationed at regular intervals around it to give information on the wildlife present - very calming and relaxing. Like I said, we only had one night here so didn't have too much time to look about. There is a mall pretty close with good eat out food options, although we had dinner on the premises which was really tasty. Our flight wasn't till the evening so we went out in the morning to the local Benoni Monkey and Bird Park. This was a great idea, a medium sized mini zoo with a ln array of animals including tigers, monkeys, birds, mongooses and much more. It was very competitively priced as well - well worth visiting with kids as the kids can handle animals like rabbits and guinea pigs on site. They also specialize in kids birthday parties. It was a very nice, well kept and cared for little zoo.

The only thing we didn't like was having to only spend one night here!!
