Casa Via Viscri

We stayed here for one night in January 2024 and had a great experience. The space was very clean (big brownie points!) and tastefully furnished, very welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you might need, which we really appreciated. We did have a minor hiccup unlocking the gate and finding the keys for the kitchen (which is adjacent to the rooms with a separate entrance), but the host was very responsive on WhatsApp and quickly helped us resolve it. They even shared some great tips for exploring the area, which was nice.

The only downsides for us were the absence of a TV for streaming YouTube or enjoying a movie, and one of the bathrooms where the walk-in shower caused the entire floor to flood (due to an improper slope, I believe). Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few minor issues that could be improved!

We had a fantastic experience at Paulo and Mihaela's adorable house. It was warm, welcoming, cozy, very clean and bright. The bed was really comfortable! Because of the location, it was quiet and yet it was very convenient for our travel purposes. Best of all, Paulo and Mihaela welcomed us as if we were longtime friends, offered us tea in the evening and we even played Rummikub with them for a couple of hours. Oh, and they have a sauna and jacuzzi in the works ;) Multumesc & grazie mille!

One minor hiccup: The toilet seat wasn't properly attached to the structure itself which made for an awkward and unsteady 'sit'... We're sure that it will be fixed pronto.

The facility does not have signs up; however, the owners used WhatsApp to send us photos of the location. That helped considerably in finding the facility. It should also be noted that Google maps gives the location in Viscri itself versus in Bunesti on Via Viscri. This can be confusing. The owners were very nice and were very good at explaining the various kitchen appliances, the washer, dryer, and other features of the house. After several weeks of traveling, we very much appreciated being able to do some laundry to get some clean clothes.

The shower floor can be a bit slippery.

Everything! The place is beautifuly designed and the owners are so nice, friendly, generous and helpful. We had dinner the owner spontaneously prepared for us and we enjoyed knowing them. It feels like you get to heaven with vintage furniture and little garden outside.

It was a bit hard to find the place on google/Waze at the beginning but the owner helped us, and once we arrived we had forgotten about it. Very close to Viscri village

This place with only 3 rooms made me feel like home: very clean, attention to details, a really nice to talk owner and a place where you have all you need.

The pictures on the site are not the best. Place looks better than in pictures, usually is the opposite :)
