Cornwall Woodland Shepherd's Hut with Hot Tub - Deirdres Hut

Great location for exploring the area that is soo peaceful it would be hard to not recharge.

We travelled to Cornwall at the end of October during the off-season, hoping to soak in some autumn vibes — and this glamping hut was exactly what we needed. The place offered a peaceful, forest-like atmosphere that truly captured the essence of nature. It felt like proper camping but with all the comfort and charm of a cozy hut. The serenity of the surroundings made it such a relaxing and grounding experience for me personally. A wonderful stay for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The weather was not ideal that it was windy, wet and rainy at times, but when it's dried we were able to do a small camp fire outside and just appreciate the feel. Location is good for travelling to seaside villages in Cornwall (within 1 hours mark) and 20-30 minutes to good location for restaurants. Our 2 dogs also enjoy the area a lot. The hosts Abbie and Toby are very responsive to texts and calls and very accommodative.

The space is compact but perfectly manageable. Just a note — try not to bring too much with you. It’s quite suitable for those traveling within the UK with light luggage, but if you’re coming from abroad with larger suitcases, it might be a bit tight. You can always leave extra items in the car and bring only the essentials inside, though that can make the hut feel a little more crowded.

A cosy, comfortable and well.presented Shepherd Hut, perfect for our short stay in Cornwall.

It was quite hard to find, not well sign posted from the main road and the owners were a bit hit and miss with prior communication leading up to our stay.

Everything from the bedding to shower gel was very well thought out, so comfortable and homely
