The area and the host were both excellent! Lovely forest and a village around with a great pub and a gardening centre!

The lack of an electric heater is quite difficult in spring in case it rains. Not a big issue though!

From turning into the most beautiful secluded area to waking up with the sun shining and beautiful views, our stay was absolutely brilliant and everything we needed! We enjoyed making a fire and using the BBQ. Walking around taking in the views and then inside to light the log burner with a hot bev and a game of monopoly, which was super cosy!! And the bed was very comfy! We had our lovely dog who had a wonderful time and was his first time away! It was so nice to switch off away from screens and just enjoy each others company.

As seen from the advertising photos, I did expect to arrive and see scones/ doggy treats. Nevertheless this was not at all a problem or worth bringing up to the owner about, just a bit of feedback as to what we had seen. There are no other negatives!!!
