The couldn’t connect on Wi-Fi

The location was great. It was exactly as described and close to the places I wanted to get to

The apartment had no air conditioning or extra blankets. I almost froze to death. The sliding doors leading to the balconies have no locking mechanisms - we felt unsafe. The wi-fi is also very unstable.

The apartment is beautiful, on the 6th floor. The inside was also aesthetically pleasing.

1. No wifi, it has a Rain dongle but it does not work. I did ask for assistance on the matter but none came. It sounds as though that it is common knowledge that Rain doesnt work in Century City. The other neighbours had fibre. This was a big factor for me as I was specifically looking for a place with internet because my kids had online classes. The internet thing was never fixed and no back up provided up until I left a week later. 2. The building is supposedly a smoke free zone but these rules are never enforced. Neighbiurs a level below us played their music until well after midnight, EVERY night, it was loud not only that, they smoked cannabis from early evening until very late. One evening the smoke alarm went off and I thought our problems will finally be gone, nope. They were back at it the entire week. I dont smoke and cough badly at the smell of smoke and as a result I couldnt sleep in the main bedroom, spent the week on the couch and again I reported this to property management, just like the wifi issue, it was never attended to. These 2 things may not be a big deal to some people but this made my stay very uncomfortable and if I had an option of getting a refund, I would have left the next morning.

The location, the room was very clean.

The washing machine and the coffee machines were broken.

The smell of weed /dagga coming from the apartment next door was overwhelming. No extra blankets. No handwash and plug to use the hair dryer. The doors are all very heavy to move so not accessible for persons with disabilities.
