Please note that The Lake House Rooms at The Waterhead Inn is an old Victorian building with no lift. If guests smoke in the rooms, they may be charged one night's accommodation as a penalty. Upon arrival, guests need to check in at The Waterhead Inn before making their way to their room within the Lake House building. The Lakehouse is an annex building across the road from The Waterhead Inn and access is via an incline. Check-in alongside breakfast is in the main Waterhead Inn building which is located across the road at the bottom of the incline. Guests arriving after 20:00 are requested to inform the property prior to arrival. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. It may not be possible to accommodate guests in the same room for each consecutive night of their stay. Pet-friendly rooms are limited, so please check availability prior to booking. A GBP 15 fee per pet per night applies, and guests are required to inform the property in advance. Please note that if you require assistance setting up a twin bed, please request this via the Special Requests box during booking. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability. Please note that for group bookings (5 or more rooms), a non-refundable prepayment of 10% of the full amount is required at time of booking. Payment for group bookings should be made via credit card or bank transfer within 6 weeks prior to arrival, together with the full rooming list.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. A deposit may be required at the property.

Very nice room, we were on the ground floor, it was a large room clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the pier.

The walk to the hotel was steep but short, the raid to cross to get to the property was very busy and there is no footpath on the side where the hotel is especially if you use the steps.

Our room was large and beautifully decorated, with an excellent shower and very comfortable bed. The breakfast had lots of tasty options and we also really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Parking is tricky - arrive early to ensure a space. Also note that the Lakehouse rooms are opposite the main Waterhead Inn and up a hill, not a problem for us but it did mean dashing through the rain for dinner and breakfast!

The location is great, the inn collection did a great job of relocating us to another room when ours wasn't what we thought. Abraham was fantastic! Attentive, helpful and very friendly, gave us recommendations for food which were delicious and made us feel very welcome.

The room we booked we thought was a lake view room at the lake rooms but after a 6 hour journey we found we were facing a car park, we believe the error was made by booking.com, the inn collection charged £20 for changing the room to a lake facing room. The room given had no bath and twin beds but indeed had a lake view so comprises were made. The manager of the hotel seemed unapproachable and very stressed, not helpful at all. I saw him being very rude to various members of staff, this was unprofessional. I would use the inn collection again but I would not use particular hotel.

Very nice friendly staff they all seem to work very hard.

There isn't alot I didn't like possibly a little bit more attention to detail in the room needed touching up in places. Breakfast excellent compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.
