Bay View Villas

This property is fantastic! Modern, beautiful and very clean. I would happily return. I have never stayed in a place like it. The property was easy to find on the park. Easy to access there is a slope up to the chalet from the car park but we had no issues with getting a pushchair up there. The owners Ken & Siri really care about this property as well as the stay for the people staying. There were complimentary snacks and coffee. There was also a little handbook with how everything works in the property and ideas on places to visit in north Devon. Ken also recommended me a lovely beach to go to with my disabled son which was perfect. I would also recommend The Milky Way adventure park with is only short 5 minute drive from this property and a fantastic day out. Honestly this is the best experience I have ever had with booking a property with booking.com. I would stay again and I have already recommended this chalet to friends and family even while I was there. Everything was perfect, my children were so sad to leave. The care that is put into this property really makes the holiday.

Nothing this property was truly everything we needed plus more.

it was a very straightforward place to stay enough room the area was perfect the view was gorgeous and we enjoyed iare short break would book again.

everything was fine however i wouldve expected it to be more cleaner because of my standards of cleanliness.

Chalet was lovely and clean.

Hosts were fab and very helpful! Well equipped kitchen, a good size shower/bathroom (better than you’d get in a caravan!) and in a very quiet location. (The toy box in the villa was also a lovely and much appreciated touch!). Appreciated the fact the property had heating options as there were some colder morning during our stay. On a nice site with lots to do for our toddler and also lovely sea views (which can be seen from the villa).

Just a few minor things/tweaks to make it even better; a doormat for inside the property, a bigger mirror (maybe on the back of a bedroom door?) and a dimmer switch or side lamp for the main room maybe. Otherwise just a few smaller maintenance bits and amenities refresh (eg tv remote was dodgy, hot tap in kitchen wasn’t very warm and the shampoo/ shower gel pumps in the shower were empty)

It was very clean, and had drinks and milk on arrivals. Went down the beach that’s on the site was lovely! Weather wasn’t on our side though but overall a good stay.

The double bed wasn’t very comfortable, and there’s no path way up to the property as it’s on the hill.. weather wasn’t great so made it hard to get to and from the car. And the entertainment was ok however was on edged the whole holiday as it was infested with wasps.
