a comfortable and clean hotel, 50 metres from the sandy beach. Spacious beds, small kitchen and a nice balcony!

It's a strange arrangement where a key has to be taken at the supermarket nearby the hotel but the supermarket owners don't work for the hotel. Although there's a possibility to cook in the room, nearby supermarkets (including the one near the hotel) are very basic, with no interesting food (probably for tourists who prefer eating banal sausages and non-Greek food when they arrive to Crete), and with little variety of fruits! The resort is far from anything, all the restaurants nearby are offering banal food and to get something good you need to get a taxi to get out of the resort. There are no much walking area besides the resort either

Air conditioning leaked for a week and reported it 3 times before insisting it was fixed. Bathroom flooded on the first night due to a blocked drain in shower. Host was indifferent about our concerns. On three occasions the host also opened our apartment door to check in, without knocking first. Quite unsettling. The cleaner was very pleasant, but when asking for fresh towels, she had to ask for permission from the host???? There are much nicer apartments in surrounding areas now that we know the area.
