Location was amazing , staff were friendly

Too many flies in the dining area and the water pressure in the toilets weren't that good

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and cool.

The location was really good and quite quiet. Nice private terrace. Nice staff.

The room is dreary and dark. The water pressure in the shower is poor. There was no water at night. The salespeople are very aggressive and shout over the fence to the resort. The food in the restaurant and the excursions are very expensive. The breakfast and dinner are not very good and the portions are small.

The staff was amazing. All smiles and very service minded! Almost sad saying goodbye to them

It was right on the beach and cute bungalows.

The Air conditioner was not working in our room. Very windy inte evening in restaurant .

The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and seating around the lodge was nice and plentiful. It was a good location.

The water didn't last long enough to wash and shampoo my hair both days and it was cool, not warm in temperature. Not having a/c made it not as comfortable sleeping. The ceiling fans were noisy. Lastly, the coffee was room temperature both days. The first day I couldn't even drink it. The second day I manage but it was not good.

Great location directly at the beach front. Nice pool, friendly staff and good breakfast. Enjoyed our time in the bungalow. Live music at night was also nice!

Absolutely beautiful place. The staff at the receptionist do such a stellar job at welcoming guests and making guests feel at home. They also go out of their way to make guests stay easy and comfortable, especially Joseph. Joe was super helpful, always ready to answer any questions we had. The place looks peaceful and serene! Loved the assorted pastry platter that comes with breakfast, everything was always so delicious 👌🏾. House keeping ladies also did a stellar job with keeping the rooms clean!

The breakfast was good on most days. But on some days there were multiple issues such as: - they would say they have no ingredients and could only make pancakes - food would be delayed and one would wait over 45min for their order - some days you could tell that the back of house (cooks and chef were overwhelmed with the orders) - no standardization of breakfast service, some days we received fruits with breakfast, some days we didn't - filter coffee machine needs to be replaced, the coffee is always cold . We always had to ask them to heat it up for us in the kitchen 😫

Very friendly staff in the hotel, good pool at Pili Pili Oasis

Pili Pili has many different hotels in the South of Zanzibar. We did not stay at Pili Pili Palm Beach but Pili Pili Oasis (next to Pili Pili Sunrise) which seems to have disappeared (not on Google, not here on booking.com anymore). While Pili Pili Oasis was relatively new, the facility for Pili Pili Sunrise (restaurant for breakfast and pool) was old and looked used. The staff was very kind, nevertheless I would not recommend to stay here as the business seems to be shady (see the reviews of other Pili Pili hotels on Zanzibar on Google). The fact that the name of the hotel changed only a few days after we have been there and we could not find it on Google before our stay, gives us a strange feeling.

A really nice and relaxing place and location. Some staff were so sweet and helpful, some had more to learn. But overall, they were trying! A peaceful place, nice pool and fresh room. The restaurant had tasty Mexican food. And the bartender made us some very delicious mocktails! We enjoyed it.

In general, there was some poor communication. Due to new staff there were also some situations that we wished would have been handled differently. My bed was somehow defective so my mattress was leaning, which was a bit annoying after staying there for some time. The breakfast was good but we wished there could have been a little bit more of variations for it. After more than a week of stay, we unfortunately started to get tired of it.
