The location is near downtown and walkable to most of the downtown stuff within about 15 minutes. The entrance to the two rooms is on the side of the house with its own little gate and a super convenient to get in and out of for late arrivals or early departure. The two rooms are completely separate from the rest of the house and for us that made us feel really safe.

The bathroom is a bit dirty and there’s mold on the ceiling. It is an older house so a little wear and tear was expected but the bathroom does need to actually be cleaned to remove the dust and light dirt, and used items from previous people who have stayed there. It was clean enough we felt fine using it but were surprised it had not been recently cleaned.

Downtown Wilmington.

Guy smoking weed on the porch, mildew smelling sheets, shared bathroom that clearly isn’t cleaned regularly, stains all over walls and blinds, disrespectful host.

Location

I am not sure if it was the daughter of the property owner or another guest, there was loud music, and a couple of loud phone conversations on the speaker. Since a big house is converted into multiple bedrooms with a shared bathroom, the sound proofing is not good (there are cancelled doors between rooms). To be honest, I knew this was going to be the case when I read the previous reviews. All and all, it worked for me for a night.
