Beautiful views, straight across from the beach, lovely house, and Kerry was so nice and friendly. Amazing stay.

The views from the house. Even on a bad day, we could sit and enjoy the rain hitting the windows and relax.

Scenery, location. Large house, plenty of room

Our double bed in the downstairs room was very uncomfortable, as springs felt through mattress. Ended up sleeping in the single beds instead. No tin opener - ended up opening tin for tea with knife and meat hammer! 🤣

The views and how close you are to the Causeway make this stay 100% worth it! ***skip this section to get back to just the hotel’s review*** You’re right next to a beach, the bay windows provide a lovely view of the sunset. Off in the distance (to the right of the bay windows/house) you can walk to the Giant’s Causeway. You can take the path from the car park right next door and choose either a quicker route or a much longer, much more scenic (and totally worth it) route. For the quickest route, follow the path until you get to the railroad tracks. You’ll cross these by path twice—if you ever end up crossing a rocky river, you should go back and cross the tracks and continue straight. This will take you the quickest way to the Giant’s Causeway, and then you don’t have to pay for it. Otherwise, when you get to the second cross over the tram tracks, you’ll see some signs on the left (coming from the hotel) talking about staying on one path to avoid fording the river. I think there’s a little fence structure to walk through, down closer to the water. If you take that and cross the rocks over the river—watch your step—and then proceed to follow the trail you’ll be treated to a much longer, but much more beautiful coastal walk all the way to the giant’s causeway. ***back to the hotel review*** There is a washer and an outside and inside clothesline. The inside one is on a pretty cool contraption in the kitchen. There’s plenty of appliances in the kitchen for anything you would want to make. There’s also plenty of sitting, especially in the bay view room, which is absolutely gorgeous. Again, great place to watch the sunset. The host is absolutely wonderful and very sweet.

The house is equipped with plenty of beds, but they’re not the most comfortable. That being said, unless you’re very picky I think most people will end up sleeping fine. It’s also got two bathrooms, we couldn’t get hot water in the downstairs one, and after trying various adjustments finally got the upstairs one to come out at the right temp, but the water pressure was a little low still. Lastly, it definitely wasn’t the cleanest, but I think part of that has to do with essentially being a beach house + the windows having been open, but nothing in the house is at all filthy or super disgusting. It’s more like it looks like some window sills and sinks could have been wiped down.
