New hotel, big and luminous rooms, balcony, staff, pool

the hotel is supposed to be in a quiet area, which it is, however it's surrounded by farms where you hear the chicken, dogs etc for breakfast there are "only" two options: pancakes or eggs

We had a really nice experience, room is awesome, bed is comfortable (hard), the place is far from the city centre and we liked it, there are really kind and they make perfect breakfast 🥞🍳

Great but as a vegan, there was really only fruit. I didn’t mind this as I only have a light breakfast.

A long way from town. Taxis available but obviously an extra cost. Laundry was expensive. A lot of noise from wildfowl- earplugs needed!

Lovely staff and beautiful location, it is slightly out from the town but so easy to get to! Only a 10 minute drive and the staff always called us a taxi. Breakfast was lovely and wholesome. Everyone in the neighbourhood was so friendly and so were the dogs and chickens🥰 we really enjoyed our time here! ❤️

The interior is modern and of good standard, especially the bathroom with its modern shower cabin. The view from the upper floors is lovely. The location in the village is nice in theory but also came with downsides. The staff was a mixed bag. Two staff members were extremely helpful, willing to communicate via Google translate and very hospitable, helping out with any issues.

Unfortunately (and this is no fault of the hotel) the neighbours keep geese, dogs and chicken which are making a lot of noise most days and most nights. It was impossible to use the otherwise beautiful balcony because it was so loud. Upon request a staff member went to check on the dogs who were constantly whining and made me imagine the worst scenarios. When I checked the next day I found the dogs being held in tiny cages with no room to move whatsoever. Hearing and witnessing this level of animal abuse made me uneasy and unable to sleep at night. Even ear plugs didn't help. In addition to that, one young staff member made unnecessary noise at night (shouting while playing video games in the lobby), didn't use Google translate but only gave nods or shook his head in response to complex questions, and overall was not trained to work in hospitality. The included breakfast was not worth mentioning. No selection available, just eggs, toast and coffee. I understand that it's off season but as a paying guest you can expect more than that.

Best option if you want to be away from the crowd, noise and under construction Cat Ba. Really well situated in a small town, close to Hikes, National Park and atracctions. Everything is brand new in the Hotel. There's a little beach 2min away and a few Restaurat options really close by. Of course you will need to rent a scooter to move around but they arrange that for you, they are always willing to help with anything you need; they don't really speak English, but that's not a barrier now a days.

What an amazing home stay! This place is so peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. We had such a lovely time here. The pool is great and the rooms so clean and modern. We could also rent a motorbike. We were impressed at the standard of the hotel for the cost of the room. We absolutely would return! There is a lovely little bar/ restaurant down the road also called ‘binhs motorcycles’ with lovely food, cocktails and some board games. Definitely recommend this homestay!
