We were barely at the apartment. The stay overall was nice!

It would be nice to have good coat hangers etc. Not ones that other guests have left behind. Lack of ironing board and a clothes airer to hang washing on.. Internet was complicated. The noise of the traffic kept one awake, no sound proofing. Impossible to open a window at night to let in fresh air.

The owners, Valentina and Stefano, have been the best hosts we have ever had. They gave us all the advice we had asked for and helped us in two emergency situations, which was way beyond what could have been expected from them. The apartment was spacious and clean, with more closets and cabinets than we could use. It was equipped with everything we needed, even with soap, dishwasher, some coffee, oil, etc. Fornaci di Barga is a small town, but it has a very good restaurant (La Bionda) and an excellent gelateria. It Is perfect if you want to escape from other tourists.

It was a very pleasent stay. The hosts were very helpfull and kind. It was a beautifull area and we had a nice stay. Good value for the price.

Great apartments to stay. Spacious and sunny rooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, like at home. We had a last minute booking late in the evening. The hosts met us at the door. The road to Lucca takes 30 minutes from the apartments, to the beach - about an hour. We really liked it and this is a definite recommendation.
