The Annex Glastonbury Tor View

Great peaceful location, it was shame I was using for a only for abusiness trip

Lovely clean and comfortable place to stay. Perfect for seeing the TOR in the distance and getting to Glastonbury by car in 10mins.

The layout is amazing and the facilities are superb.

There is nothing i didn’t like but being over 6 foot - the roof is quite low in some areas.

We had a few issues with the front gate but the host was happy to help deal with this issue

Lovely place to stay, it was so quiet and peaceful and hearing the owls when we got back to the Annex in the evening was just wonderful. It had all of the facilities needed and was very comfortable, we would definitely go back again next time we are staying in the area.

A lovely peaceful location, a very good base for visiting the local nature reserves. The property inside is well kept, with a comfortable bed and good blackout blinds in the bedroom. The shower was brilliant, everything I wanted to use worked. Even though it is out in the countryside, Glastonbury and supermarkets are a few minutes away. I was worried about the remote controlled gate but it worked easily, and gave a sense of security.

The oven was quite confusing at first — I had to use Google Lens to find out that it was a BOSCH model, then go to their website to find the manual. Only then could I work out how to switch the display from Dutch to English and realise that the silver circular control was actually the temperature dial. Once I finally got it sorted, it cooked my dinner very well. I would have preferred a standard table and chairs instead of the bar‑height table and stools. In the bathroom, there was also nowhere to hang towels or place a wash bag.

This stay was a perfect hideaway from the buzzing streets of Glastonbury. The size of the rooms is good, the bed phenomenally comfortable and the quietness outside, especially theoughout the night, great. Easy to find and with all the important informations given before you arrive, I would stay here again and recommend it.
