Beekman Arms and Delamater Inn

Services were great. Good restaurant and well done complimentary breakfast.

This appears to be two former inns now under one management. The address provided via Booking was closed up tight when we arrived around 7:00 pm. We called the number provided and got no answer. We decided to go to the well lit inn two blocks away. That turned out to be the address we should have had initially. We told the person checking us in about the difficulties we had experienced. He said .. - he was busy and couldn’t be expected to answer every call. - the incorrect address was provided by Booking and that the Inn wasn’t allowed to change it - we should always book directly with the inn. We said we’d always had a good experience with Booking, that we usually receive a follow-up email from the location soon after receiving the confirmation email from Booking and that we often receive several other helpful emails from the location. His response was that he had nothing to do with that. Everything following our check in experience was excellent.

Breakfast was awful. Cold decaf coffee. Nothing fresh to eat. Really, just plain cheap and thoughtless.

We didn’t like anything about the breakfast.

Great location is fantastic - right in the heart of Rhinebeck. The main hotel building at The Beekman Arms feels very historical and the bar/restaurant was charming.

The room I stayed in at the Delamater Inn was clean and comfortable but a little bit dated in terms of the decor. The room was a 2-3 minute walk down the street from the hotel check-in desk in the main Beekman Arms building.

The breakfast was pretty minimal and overrun by the time I went around 9 AM. There were not any seats available to sit down.

There was an outdoor wedding outside our room, with loud music playing until later in the evening. No where on the website does it indicate that you won't be staying in the main house. The facilities at the ancillary building are quite old and not completely clean.

Gorgeous. Energy is wonderful and inviting. Tons of history here.

At breakfast every day something was missing (yogurt, eggs, bread, cream cheese, etc.) and when I complained, the receptionist was rude and treated me badly, making fun of my complaint. I will never return to that hotel again!

Location was incredible, right in the middle of town with easy access to all the charm of Rhinebec.

We assumed we were staying in a historic inn but were actually at one of the adjacent properties, which is part of a conference center. The building and rooms lacked charm. They were nice but there was nothing cute or romantic about it.
