Property was extremely clean and a location is great! I would recommend this for those who want to visit old town of Bari. Perfect pizza just street away and take away seafood down the road. Host was in contact all the time during my stay which was great for me as I a solo traveler. I liked his treat - water and bottle of coke in the fridge.

Key collection via a lockbox was easy. The manager was responsive and tried his best to address my concerns (though was ultimately unable to address the most important concerns). However, the property itself was not accurately described and the overall experience of staying there was not a good one.

I booked what was listed as a 1br apartment which, on arrival, proved to be a studio without a desk. The manager was responsive but was unwilling to refund and cancel the booking. He was able to switch me to another unit which was listed as a 1br but also was actually a studio. This second unit had a table which was usable as a desk. The issues with the second unit were: 1) The unit was not clean upon arrival. The table, floor, bathroom, shower stall were all dirty — however the manager was able to arrange them to be cleaned on the day of arrival. 2) The bed was a pull-out sofa. This was not indicated in the listing. 2) There was no storage for clothing or bags. The unit had no wardrobe/dresser unit, despite photos showing wardrobes. The only storage in the unit was in the built-in kitchen cabinets, all of which were occupied by cleaning supplies and equipment, bedding, and kitchen equipment. 3) The shower hot water supply was unreliable. The in-unit water heater was switched on the entire time, but worked only erratically (no hot water on all 3 nights, tepid water on the final morning). 4) The shower stall design unavoidably flooded part of the bathroom whenever the shower is used. 5) There was a strong smell of sewage from the bathroom. The manager offered a partial refund for the booking fee. As of 12/6, I have not received the refund.

The room was very clean which is very important. It was located in the old town of Bari and to me personally it was even near all the attractions and good restaurants. The host was very polite and helpful making the stay even better.
